EAGLE RIVER, Wis. – Trees for Tomorrow (TFT), an accredited natural resources specialty school in Eagle River, WI is pleased to announce that registration is now open for vendors and exhibitors wishing to be part of its 8th annual Forest Fest set for Saturday, July 28, 2018. Forest Fest is a free family fun day that takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 pm. on the Trees For Tomorrow campus in the heart of Eagle River.
This premier outdoor event celebrates all the forest has to offer with exhibits and programs, focusing on wood harvesting, wood products, wilderness, wildlife, water quality, recreation and more. Forest Fest features logging equipment demonstrations, a lumberjack breakfast, arts and craft vendors, horse-drawn wagon rides, children’s activities, birds of prey, chainsaw carving, papermaking, logging history, great food and more!
“This is a great opportunity for vendors, businesses and organizations who value the sustainable management of our natural resources to come together for a day-long celebration and share their craft, skills and experience with others,” said Chantel Kuczmarski, Community Engagement Coordinator. “Our goal is to educate the general public about all of the products we enjoy and rely on that come from our forests.”
Trees For Tomorrow is looking for industry professionals interested in demonstrating their products, equipment and current safety practices, including harvesting, transporting, preparing wood for use, and showing how wood is used to make everyday products.
Space is available for artisans and crafters to showcase their wares. Booths are 12x12 and include a table and 2 chairs for $25. Governmental agencies and non-profit organizations are welcome at no cost.
