My apologies for failing to post the Mike Foss bear dating video to date. It’s done and has been sent to our great graphic designer for posting. Ali Garrigan has been on an earned vacation over the week of the 4th. After filming the introduction to the bear video with Jim Olsson, I have been covering fishing on the Turtle Flambeau in Iron county, and Smallmouth Bass Fishing Chequamegon Bay with hall of fame guide, Roger LaPenter.
Just returned. We will get to those stories soon, and the bear video I think, is worth the wait. Again, sorry it took so long. Next time OWO captures something extraordinary on video I will keep my mouth shut until it’s done. In the meantime, here’s a sample of my week in the north country…..

National Freshwater Hall of Fame angler Roger LaPenter puts Frank Cicciarelli of Iowa in position to entice another smallmouth bass strike on Chequamegon Bay.
Frank Cicciarelli, 80, of Dubuque and his flyrod show a 19 inch smallmouth bass just who is boss on Chequamegon Bay fishing with Guide Roger LaPenter. The fish was released.
