Wisconsin waterfowl hunters, even traveling Wisconsin waterfowl hunters, see more fabulous sunrise scenes every season than most people see in a lifetime. John Volkman captured these sunrise scenes of geese in Saskatchewan, Canada in late October.
“There was a mass exodus of birds that day when temperatures dropped near zero followed by an eight-inch dropping of snow the next morning,” Volkman said.
