Fall is always a great time of year here at Wern Valley! Below are reminders of upcoming events in the next few weeks, please call the Club at 262-968-2400 for more information or to sign up for any of them. Hope everyone is having a good season and happy hunting!
10-Pheasant Special
The Club is still offering a 10-bird pheasant hunt special for use between now and the end of November. The price is $149+tax for 10 pheasants (at least 80% roosters) for up to 4 hunters in the field. They must be released all at once in the same hunting shift. Come out for a fun hunt at a great price and get your dog in shape for the winter and spring! The cover in the fields is great right now- the switch grass is not as tall as in previous years and we have harvested rows the corn. Chukar Partridge are also available for $12.50+tax per bird! Fields are beginning to get booked up- so please call soon for your reservation!
Concealed Carry Class
Looking for your WI concealed carry permit? The Club is offering a one-night class on Tuesday, December 11 from 6 pm to 9:30 pm. The course is taught by WI Pro Gun Movement founder Jim Fendry. Jim will go over the important state regulations and you will receive a certificate of completion that night. The cost is $50 per attendee.
Packer vs. Vikings Party
Stop by the Clubhouse on Sunday, December 2 at noon to watch the Packers vs. Vikings game! The Mindiola Family will provide the main meal of tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, tamales, rice & beans. Please bring a dish to pass (appetizers, deserts, etc) and friends! GO PACK!
Retirement Planning Workshop
This workshop is available to anyone looking for information on retirement planning, such as 401(k) distribution and IRA rollovers. Learn how to evaluate what distribution and rollover options are appropriate for you! There are two dates available- either Tuesday November 13, or Thursday November 15, both begin at 6 pm. There is no cost or obligation for attending, the session will last approx 45 minutes with time available afterwards for any questions. Hosted by Eric Corbeg, Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed.
