PUPS
PUPS…….I write a column for the On Wisconsin Outdoors Newspaper and have written numerous articles for the website regarding my hunting memories. I was a pheasant hunting guide for many years until a recent health condition stopped that activity. My health also stopped my continuation of my dog breeding and more importantly continuing my Labrador Hershey’s direct gene pool. My dogs retrieved over 1000’s of pheasants yearly and the two males are also excellent waterfowl dogs. I had hoped the genes would continue.
Close up of minute old Labrador pups
Three years ago we sold one of our pups to our good friend Robert Vialpando and he bred his/our pup Gonza with Maverick from Hunter’s Kennels. Today, March 14th, the pups are in the process of being brought into the world. So far eight healthy pups have hit the ground. I wish I was there during the process but Robert is updating me pup by pup. Two pups are spoken for by Robert and Hunter’s Kennels, the remainder will be for sale. For further information, contact Robert at 920-988-8498.
Mother Gonza and her pups again
Please check out the great puppy pictures from hours ago with the mother Gonza and her first litter. Obviously there are both yellow and black Labrador puppies.

The picture of the four adult labs are my three generations with Great Grandmother Hershey (11), Grandmother Elsie (6), Uncle Nyjer (6), and Uncle Schmiddy (3). All the stud dogs used were from Kennedy’s Waterdog Specialties.
