Hunting Dogs Injured/Killed in Oconto and Clark Counties

Wildlife Services confirmed that wolves injured or killed the following hunting dogs:

* Three Walker hounds were injured in the same incident on 12/23/16 in the Town of Brazeau, Oconto County.

* One Walker hound was killed on 12/24/16 in the Town of Sherwood, Clark County.

Hunters are reminded to use the caution-area maps on the DNR website (dnr.wi.gov, keyword "wolf management") to help reduce conflicts.
