Black, minority Trump supporters censored by Gannett, other media at 2020 RNC Convention. Expect the same as Milwaukee hosts 2024 RNC Convention. Look back four years Wisconsin, to compare and contrast Gannett’s corrupt coverage of the 2020 Republican and Democratic National Conventions to know what to expect July 15-18 when the nation’s eyes rest on Milwaukee, home of the 2024 RNC convention.  The DNC will showcase its conventi...

Price County Fishing Report 7-1-13

There has been a long drawn out mayfly hatch but that doesn't seem to be hurting the Panfish or Walleye bite at all. Bluegills are still tight to shore, we are getting them on just about anything that we throw at them. They are pretty spooky and you almost have to hit the wood to get them. Walleye action it still going strong, size is a little on the small side but the action has been making up for it. Leeches under a slip float have been working very well, or half of a crawler on a jig or floating lindy rig. Look for the Walleye in 4 to 15 feet of water right now. I have been hitting some steep banks with wood on and catching a nice mixed bag of Walleye, Perch, and Gills. If you get hit close to shore it's usually a gill and if one of them doesn't pick up your line a Walleye or Perch usually hits when you drag you bait closer to the boat.

Topwater Musky and Bass action is heating up, I have been seeing some nice Musky in the early mornings and later in the evening on Dr. Evils, America's Best Crawlers, and Top Raider style baits. Large Mouth have been starting to go on Frogs in the heavy weed cover, and Smallmouth on Chug Bugs around Rock and Wood. During the day Gliders like Phantoms have been working well for Musky and Jigs and Craw trailers or Tubes also have been taking both Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass.
