Price County Fishing Report 5-20-2013
Wow, what a week for Ross's Sport Shop Guides and Clients! The Walleye bite was awesome with Guide Brandon Dunbar catching and Releasing 26" and 28" fish. The Walleye are in very different stages in every lake, some are still in a spawning pattern and some are post spawn. Most of the Walleye are being taken in shallow flats or close to shoreline structure and being caught on anything from Jig and live bait to stick baits or plastics.
The panfish action is getting hot in the darker water flowages and lakes. I have been doing well on both Crappie and Gills in shallow wood. Gills are hitting plastics and worms and the Crappie are going on white plastics or minnows. We have also been picking up a few bonus Bass in these areas as well.

The rivers are starting to return back to normal levels for this time of year and fishermen are starting to pick up some Catfish, Walleye and Smallmouth on the North and South forks of the Flambeau.
