Price County Fishing Report 1-23-13
The Butternut and Schnurs Lake Association held their fisheree this past Saturday. The weather was excellent at the beginning of the tournament with air temps about 33 degrees. Anglers were experiencing a slow bite but were catching fish. By 1 pm all of the winning fish were on the board. As the day progressed the winds began to pick up to the extent that anglers had white out conditions late in the afternoon. Air temps dropped into negative #s. In all everyone had a good time. The big fish were Walleye 18", Northern 30" Perch 11", Crappie 14". Thanks to Dick & Joan Page of Butternut Resort for hosting the event and the Lake Association for all the hard work.
