The water temp on the Menominee River is 59 degrees and smallmouth are active. Smallmouth are cruising the shallows with the best baits being soft plastic jerkbaits and stick baits rigged wacky style.
The smallmouth action has also been good on High Falls Flowage. Walleye fishing has been slow.
