Whitebass Fall on Winnebago Chain.
Lenny Young and Pete Limberatos hit the whitebass right during a recent trip to the Winnebago Chain. According to Young, the two used flies and minnows on ultralight. “We caught many doubles using a bare fly 2 feet out and a gold hook with a minnow at 4 feet out from a triple swivel and 18 inches of line with three-quarter ounce barrel weight,” Young wrote. This catch of 40 fish, he said, increased to 150 the next week.
