Washburn County Fishing and Outdoor Report

1/22/2016- Reported by Long Lake Bait, Tackle & C-Store

The snowmobile/ATV lake trail was staked yesterday.  Thanks to all who helped with this! Crews were finding the ice depths anywhere from 6" to 10" and occasional 12". Very inconsistent.  Snowmobiles and ATV's should stay on the trail.  I received a call from Darlene & Andy at Beechmore yesterday.  They have also staked the lakes in their area i.e. Whitefish, Grindstone, Sand, etc.  They also reported finding the same amount of ice as Long Lake as well as very inconsistent. So exercise caution on all area lakes!
