Price County Fishing Report 11/24/14
With no doe tags and a lower then normal deer population many hunters decided to spend some or in cases most of opening weekend of the Wisconsin Deer Firearm season on the ice. Most area fishermen are reporting 5 to 7 inches of good ice on area lakes. Walleye and pike anglers have been hitting the ice for well over a week now and panfish anglers are starting to venture out into the deeper water and are catching fish. The panfish bite is light and Tip Downs or Dead Sticks baited with a Crappie Minnow seem to be the ticket.
