Fishing around Washburn County has been very good this week. Walleye fishing has been great, lots of 14-18 inch eater sized fish in my boat. Early morning and two hours before dark are the best times to go. Musky action is beginning to pick up as well, we're seeing more fish and catching a few on buck tails and top waters. Smallmouth bass are showing up in good numbers and sizes while we've been walleye fishing too. Good luck and good fishing,
