As the water temps come down the fishing will get even better but Bay fishing for Small Mouth is really good now!
Inland lakes report that Muskie fishing is slow right now. We need the waters to cool down a bit more in the Inlands for Muskie fishing.

Fall is Salmon time of year! There are some very fresh fish still in the rivers and in the Bay. Anglers have seen some very beautiful silver fish! Salmon are in the staging areas and spawning in the rivers. The Salmon are staging off the mouth of the rivers. We have experienced some rain this week and the rain brings in fresh Salmon in the rivers. The Browns are in there to feed on the Salmon eggs.

Small Mouth Bass are getting ready for the long winter and a lot of nice size Bass are being caught. Baits used are crawlers, spawn sacks and spinner baits.

Shore fishing has been a little bit slow but as the weeds die back we will see better shore fishing.

There are Crappies, and Perch being caught by the old ore dock and the marina sea wall.

Hey Anglers….Bird Hunting and Duck Hunting is now going on in the area and Bow Hunting is underway with sightings of some nice dear out there!
