Ashland Area Fishing Report for Nov. 13, 2014
~ Fishing Guide Roger LaPenter and wife Carolyn from Anglers All, 715/682-5754(http://www.anglersallwisconsin.com), report the following:
This report is about the Ashland side of Chequamegon Bay. After some fabulous fall fishing, the region got slammed with its first snowstorm of the season, with some areas receiving more than 28” of the fluffy white stuff.
Consequently, except for the most die-hard anglers, “fishing is pretty much on hold now until we get some ice,” said Carolyn LaPenter.
She advises people to take this time to organize their ice fishing gear.
“Water temperatures are really starting to drop now with this extended cold snap,” she noted, “and we’ve had several people in the shop who are getting ready for ice fishing.”
