5/14/14 - Reported by Stone Lake Bait and Tackle
Fishing activity picked up noticeably over last weekend. The success rate was a little slow most likely due to the water temps. The report is that the fish spawn is getting under way. We had anglers describe things like being able to see nice sized crappies in the shallows but even if you hit them in the head with your bait they didn't seem the least bit interested. That will all change soon so keep trying! Good fishing!
