The ice is getting better again. reports of 5+ " on smaller lakes in the area. Every night it's making 1/2" or more so by the weekend it should be ready for all the anglers to get on the ice. Crappies are hitting, and we have had reports of walleyes as this early ice gets better and better. Guys are buying shiners for the walleye and larger sucker minnows for the northern. Waxies and spikes going well for the crappie and panfish.
