August 1 deadline for applying for 2014 Upriver Lakes Sturgeon Spearing Season
Dear Winnebago System Sturgeon Spearers:
The August 1 deadline for applying for the 2014 Upriver Lakes Sturgeon Spearing Season is quickly approaching. So make sure you leave time to purchase your application if you have not done so already. 500 lucky applicants will receive permits to purchase their license before the October 31, 2013 deadline, while applicants that do not receive a permit for an Upriver Lakes spear license will still be able to purchase a spearing license for Lake Winnebago through the October 31, 2013 deadline.
