Price County Fishing Report 6-11-13
The rainy weather finally broke on Monday and the water temps climbed from the low 60's to the mid to upper 60's in a matter of hours. With the warmer water temps the Bluegill, Crappie, and Bass all moved back super shallow and tight to wood. Walleye are scattered from shallow to deep and starting to eat Crawlers and Leeches.
I had clients out for Smallmouth Bass on Monday and the morning started out slow, but as we found warmer water we managed to boat some smallies up to 18". We were using Chompers Tubes with an internal weight so we could skip it right into the thickest cover. The bass were relating to wood and rock. In an evening trip with my son we boated 2 short Musky and had action from 3 other fish. I look for fishing action to improve thru the weekend with the stable warm weather.
Pictured are some of the Smallmouth from our Monday trip and Becky with her first ever Musky caught with guide John Carlson and Danelle with her first Musky caught with guide John Kleczewski.
