Ashland Area Fishing Report 7-8-2013

Fishing Guide Roger LaPenter from Anglers All, (715)-682-5754, http://www.anglersallwisconsin.

Reports: Carolyn at Anglers All Reports: The Big Lake continues to be good. Bass are in spawn and post-spawn mode and fishing has been great on flies. A lot of good fishing has been done at Sand Cut, Oak Point and Brush Point areas. Trolling for Trout and Salmon has been very good. Start early in the morning on the first drops then working to deeper water as the sun gets higher in the sky. Most Anglers are using spoons, bait flies and spin-n-glows. There has been a good deal of Northern activity along the Ashland Shoreline. Anglers are having good luck on the Inlands with Bass, Walleye, Northern and Pan Fish all biting. The Bass and Pan Fish are in the shallows and are very active. Fishing has been great!
