Washburn County Fishing Report

Muskie fishing remains strong in Washburn County. We are still catching good numbers of nice fish. Most of our action is coming on live suckers with quick strike rigs in 10 to 20 feet of water.
I've been hearing of nice crappie fishing on area waters but haven't had the opportunity to check it out for myself.
We likely will have open water on our lakes into December this year, so ice fishing will have to wait a bit.
