- Winter is throwing us a curve ball for Free Fishing Weekend, January 16-17, 2016. Keep your eyes on the Free Fishing Weekend page for updates and always be cautious when venturing out on the ice. Fishing from shore might be the best option if the ice is iffy.

Adults: sign up now for winter Fishing for Dinner classes!
A 4-session class is scheduled for Milwaukee beginning on January 27 at the Urban Ecology Center and a similar class will begin in Madison on February 2 at Union South. These classes are aimed at adults with little or no fishing experience and would like to know how to land dinner on the table.

We hope to schedule more classes in other parts of the state throughout the year.
