Free Fishing Weekend is in just a few days - June 3-4, 2017!

http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/fishing/anglereducation/FreeFishingWeekend.html

It's part of Free Fun Weekend, so not only can you fish without a license, you get into state parks, forests and recreation areas without a sticker and onto state trails without a pass.

No fishing pole?

Not to worry. We have more than 50 tackle loaner sites and more than half of them are located at state parks, forests, or recreation areas.

Check out the options: http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/Fishing/AnglerEducation/LoanerContacts.html.

Attention Adults!

Adults are encouraged to attend many of the Free Fishing Weekend offerings, but we also have something just for you:

Adult Fishing for Dinner classes that start next week in Madison. Registration has been extended for a few days to account for the long postal holiday.

So, there's still time to register for next week's class; other classes are scheduled for later this summer.
