WI DNR - Angler Education - Clinics and Learning Opportunities Update
Free Fishing Weekend is THIS weekend, January 18 - 19, 2020!
- Head out with friends and family members to learn how to ice fish at one of seven ice fishing clinics organized for people of all ages around the state.
- Ice fishing loaner gear is available at 12 state parks. If you have ice fishing skills to share, invite a friend out to give it a try. Do be careful in case the ice conditions are sketchy and watch out for frostbite if the temps plummet.
The 29th Annual Kids' Ice Fishing Clinics are scheduled for February 8 at six Milwaukee County parks.
Fishing for Dinner training workshops and classes for adults are lined up for January and February, with more to follow!
