Sheboygan Still Generous
By Jerry Kiesow
The Sheboygan runs a tad higher and clear. The salmon still love it.
Mostly Kings, but there appears to be some coho and I think I had a
steelhead on for a few seconds, until it jumped and tossed the hook.
The King enclosed was huge - at least 15 pounds. Gave me the best fight of
the fall. And fair caught. When I finally landed it, it had the fly that
broke off earlier in a dorsal hook up. Life is good. Lots of redds and
spawning going on. Only spend an hour and a half. Could have fished these
all day. Not that they were all that fresh, but they were active and there
was a variety to hunt. Some are definitely keeps if you need them, but not
all. Its fun to be selective. I am sure there are coho, browns, and
steelies in right now. Go get 'em!
Keep a good thought!

P.S. The pictured fly is what the king took, or yawned and got hooked.
The steelie I lost was on a #10 red mini egg. If you are interested.
