Salmon in the Sheboygan River

The coho are coming into the Sheboygan. Some new kings too. Took the new fisherwoman of our family, my daughter, on her first salmon venture. She enjoyed it. She used my eight- weight. I took the old South Bend bamboo with the Medalist reel.
Hooked a fresh king and handed the rod to her. She landed it. Could not get a coho to hit no matter what we did. They are there and they are moving all over the place. It was a fun morning. Next week, when I cannot participate, the action should be great!
