Perch tagging project video - tag returns

Dear Winnebago System Fisheries Enthusiasts:

A couple weeks back I sent an email out about a tagging project that we are conducting with yellow perch in the Winnebago System. As part of that project I worked with our office of communications staff here at the Wisconsin DNR to produce a short video about the project. This video was uploaded to our DNR Facebook page last night (Thursday) and can be viewed through the following link:

https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=929445123786356&set=vb.234938886570320&type=2&theater.

Please spread the word to any anglers you may know about the tagged perch in the system. The information we gain from tagged fish caught by anglers is extremely important to our management program and the project will only be successful if anglers report catching and harvesting tagged fish. We have now pulled our nets out of the Fox River in Oshkosh, but will be setting in a few locations within Lake Winnebago at some point next week.

Tight lines and good luck fishing this spring!

We are committed to service excellence.
Visit our survey at http://dnr.wi.gov/customersurvey to evaluate how I did.
