National Fishing Champ coming to Eau Claire!
EAU CLAIRE, WI (March 10, 2015): Ted Takasaki, National Walleye Champion Angler will be a featured presenter at this year’s Wisconsin Sport Show. A Hall of Fame Legendary Angler, Ted is one of the top competitors on the FLW Walleye Tour and dominated many of the past PWT events. Ted won the prestigious PWT Classic Championship in 1998 and the 1995 PWT Top Gun Angler Award. In 2002, he smashed the all time, one day PWT tournament record with limit of 5 walleyes that weighed 53.2 pounds!
Ted has won many national walleye tournaments and will be speaking both Saturday, March 21st and Sunday, March 22nd on Catching Walleyes during Tough Bites.

Dave Carlson, former host of Northland Adventures TV show, will be speaking on both Saturday andSunday on some of the Midwest’s best sport fishing opportunities, places and personalities he has encountered over his four decades of covering the outdoors and conservation issues.
Bob Mercier, author of best-selling hunting book “Dominance is Everything”, will be discussing how to be invisible to deer and how to walk among deer undetected. Bob will be speaking Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Karen Rude, owner of Rude Dog U, Jeff Latour, owner of Elk River Kennels, and Sonny Piekarz, owner of Haycreek Kennels, will all be presenting separate demonstrations and seminars on dog-training, hunting dogs, and picking out puppies over the three days.
Fishing seminars will also be given by: Doug Erbeck, Gregg Kizewski, Steven Nelson, Lee Haasch, John Andrews, Don Easley, Ace Sommerfeld, and Mike Wilmoth.

The sixth annual Wisconsin Sport Show features over 130 indoor exhibitor displays and 53,000+ sq ft of boats, RVs, and outdoor equipment. Event hours are 4 to 8:30 PM on Friday, March 20th, 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, March 21st, and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday, March 22nd. Advanced admission tickets are $6 for adults (ages 11 and older) or $8 at the door. Children 10 and under are free.
