Fishing Reports for Washburn County

Muskie fishing is very good on Washburn County lakes right now, lots of nice fish being caught. Topwaters and bucktails are the main producers at this time, soon cooler temps will spark a live bait bite that will last until ice up/ close of season.
Walleyes have continued to be a bit tough now, jigs and live minnows or crawlers are catching a few fish deep off structure for some folks. Been hearing of some crappies bitting over on Long Lake too.
