5/8/15- Reported by Long Lake Bait & Tackle
Water temps have been around 57-59 degrees in the daytime and again coming down to around 54-52 in the evenings. Our air temp this morning was at 46 degrees. Haven't received a water temp reading yet for today. Crappie are still biting in Mud Lake and in the shallows at around 4-6 feet. Crappie minnows and a jig are still working well! Folks are getting their limits! The Bluegill are being caught as well. Lots of bass still biting! Walleye are still pretty deep, around 20' but folks are catching their limit of 3. Fat heads and suckers are working well. We are selling leeches and crawlers too!
