Scout Lake, Milwaukee County

No matter where you live in Wisconsin, great fishing opportunities are right around the corner. The best part is - you don't need a boat to explore any of them!  

You can catch fish right from the shore at urban fishing locations, such as at Harrington Beach Quarry and Scout Lake. 

Harrington Beach Quarry, Ozaukee County 

Located within Harrington Beach State Park, the Harrington Beach Quarry is a great place to catch rainbow trout and largemouth bass. This year it was stocked with 3,600 catchable-size rainbow trout, and because it is so deep, the waters stay cold into the middle of June, making for great trout fishing. 

Scout Lake, Milwaukee County 

Scout Lake is also stocked with yearling rainbow trout every year. Thanks to a partnership with the Hunger Task Force, it is stocked with bluegill and perch. You can enjoy the lake's hiking trails and fish from accessible piers.
