Angler’s All reports:  Anglers have not been out fishing on the Bay. It’s that transition time of year where anglers are now gearing up for winter fishing.  It will be quite a while yet before you can ice fish but it is time to get your ice fishing gear together. There is a light skim of ice just now starting to form on the Inlands and anglers are getting excited for the winter fishing coming up. Always check with the bait shops this winter to hear safe ice fishing reports.

River Rock reports:

We are looking forward to a superb “Ice fishing Season” this winter. Get ready to gear-up and check out the newest in ice fishing equipment. It will be a while before the ice starts forming. Always put safety first and call us for reports.

The Musky fishing on the Inlands has been very good! However, keep in mind that the Musky season will close on November 30th!

Happy Thanksgiving anglers!

The Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce, 1-800-284-9484, reports: Fishing is always a thrilling adventure in the Ashland area! Chequamegon Bay is famous for its world-class smallmouth bass fishing. The 12-mile-long bay’s rock piles and breakwater structures make for perfect bass habitat.
