Central Wisconsin Outdoor Report
Local anglers are having good luck on walleyes and muskies with consistent action from crappies and white bass. A lot of the action is taking place on the main lake along sharp breaking channel edges and in submerged structure. The muskies have been taking large baits like Reef Hawgs, Suicks and Manta's along with rubber style baits like Bulldawgs. Most of the walleye and crappie action has come on jig and minnow combinations worked right in the deep structure or along the deepest part of the break lines. Archery hunters are getting ready for the rut which is right around the corner. If you know where the does are feeding place a stand in the vicinity and get ready for the action to start. Bucks in full rut will seek out known doe feeding areas and these likely locations will for sure draw the attention of even the wariest of bucks once the rut is in full swing.
