Ashland Fishing Report

Fishing Guide Roger LaPenter from Anglers All, (715)-682-5754, http://www.anglersallwisconsin.com Reports: Trolling for Trout and Salmon is still good. Stream fishing is still good with Trout and Salmon biting, but keep in mind that the streams are only open until November 15th. Anglers that haven’t put their boats away or Anglers that may still want to try fishing from one of the docks on the shore will most likely catch fish. If you aren’t a deer hunter and you are looking for something to do…come to the Chequamegon Bay and catch some fish! The bottom line is, “If you can get out on the Lake…You will catch fish”! Lake Tout Season closed on September 30th.

Fishing Guide Nate Baron from Up North Guide Service and Fishing Guide Scott Bretting from River Rock Inn and Bait Shop, 715-682-3232 http://riverrockinn.net Reports: Fishing on the Streams and Rivers remains good for Coho and Brown trout with a good number of Steelhead being caught on Crawlers and Spawn Sacs. Smallmouth Bass fishing has been excellent on Chequamegon Bay. Jigging spoons, Berkley gulp, Crankbaits, Bladebaits and live Sucker minnows have all been doing well. Walleye, Northern Pike, Trout, Salmon and Whitefish are also being caught as well. Muskie fishing has been very good with most anglers dragging large Suckers. Jerkbaits, Bulldawgs and Medusas have also been picking up a fair number of fish.
