Air Rifle and Air Pistol Free Competition in Chippewa Falls
CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI (May 28, 2019): The Wisconsin Air Pistol club along with Westgate Sportsman’s Club is presenting a free air rifle competition for adults, and air pistol competition for youth and adults September 7 and 8 at the Wisconsin Game Fest.
On-line registration and more information is now available for the competitions at www.wigamefest.com. Air rifle is available for men (over 13), women (over 13) and senior men. Air pistol competition is open to youth ages 9 to 13, men (over 13), women (over 13) and senior men. Participants can bring their own firearms, or they will be provided by the event promoters.
There are a limited number of spots available in each division on a first-come, first-served basis.
There is no charge to participate in the shooting competitions, but participants must purchase general admission tickets to the Wisconsin Game Fest. Children 11 and younger get free weekend admission, and advanced weekend admission for adults is just $9.
The Wisconsin Game Fest is the largest outdoor sport and recreation show in the state and will be held at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in Chippewa Falls on September 7 & 8, 2019. The event is now registering exhibitors, sponsors, attractions, and contracting with non-profit organizations for volunteer opportunities.
Event hours will be Saturday, September 7 from 9 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday, September 8 from 10 AM to 4 PM.
In addition to over 100 business and retail displays, thousands of dollars in door prizes will be available to attendees.
