52 Inch, 50 Inch Muskies Caught, Released on Green Bay

My son, Cody Jannke a friend, and I hired Scott Valleskey to take us musky fishing October 10 and 11, 2014 in Green Bay. We have musky fished Lake of the Woods, Northern MN, and northern WI lakes but never broke the 50" mark. On this day, Cody would and released a 52" musky with a 28" girth.
Cody's fish was caught about 9:00 am trolling a perch colored crank bait and a replica has been ordered. We also caught a 50" the next afternoon. Scott did a great job of explaining the and why of everything we did. Two long days of fishing but well worth it. Awesome to have such a great fishery here in WI. We are from Watertown so it was only a 2 hour drive.
