2018 Sturgeon Spearing Report
The 2019 sturgeon spear fishery is just 3 days away and anticipation has certainly been building! The DNR hasn’t had a chance to check water clarity yet this season due to the variable weather that we have had, but we do have two of our staff members out checking clarity today. I hope to get a report out later tonight or first thing tomorrow morning with what they saw.
The purpose of this mailing is to let people know that the summary report for the 2018 sturgeon spearing season is now complete. I have included a link to the report below in this email and the report should also be posted on the DNR webpage in the near future.
