Caution all fishermen and women: know the lake your fishing on....walk out ,drill holes to check the ice vs snow/slush. This weather is great for snowmobiling!

The lakes are definitely making some ice over the last few days! And the Walleye Bite is On! Folks catching some really nice Walleyes on Long Lake and other Walleye lakes in the area if you are brave enough to withstand the brutal temps! They seem to be setting at a depth of about 15' or so. Bait of choice seems to be medium to large Shiners and Suckers. Also reports of Crappie and some bluegill. We have nice shiners as well as a large selection of bait. Stop by for a free cup of coffee and check out our sales. As always, use caution on the ice as some parts are still spotty even after the frigid temps we've been having.
