Price County Fishing Report 12-20-12
Ice conditions on our area lakes took a turn for the worse this past weekend as warm moist air caused the ice to soften. The colder air expected this week should tighten things up but anglers should proceed with extreme caution and check ice thickness frequently with an ice spud. With the soft conditions even three inches may not be enough. Make sure your angling partners all keep a safe distance apart. It’s a good idea to bring safety pics and a rope just in case. Never venture out alone when conditions are questionable. We will be out this weekend and will have a report on ice thickness and what the fish activity is next week. Be safe.
