More Price County Fishing Advice!
Panfish action has been good even with the cold weather. We have been getting Crappie over deep mud flats, I have been using plastic and my electronics to catch fish but other fishermen are using Tip-Downs and Minnows with good luck. Gill action is good too, Fish close to any underwater Structure like cribs or sunken trees. Waxies or Spikes on small jigs have been working great.
Walleye action has been slow but the Pike action has been great. Golden Shiners are working great for both.
A little trick: Try taking some DK's Magic powder and dip the tail of your shiner in it, the powder will color it and add scent to it. My favorite colors are Orange or Pink. This can really be the deal maker in dark water on those slow days.... It also works well on Waxies for Panfish!!!
