MARK STIFFEL TO RETIRE FROM BRECKS INTERNATIONALMARK INTERNATIONAL

Brecks International Inc. of Sherbrooke, QC, announces the retirement of its vice-president Marketing, Mark Stiffel, at the end of 2021.

Mark has served in his current role since December 1987. During Mark’s tenure as VP Marketing; he played a critical role in helping the firm adapt to significant changes in the marketplace.

In the process, Mark served as a champion for establishing new partnerships within Canada and around the world; he was a key player not only on behalf of Brecks but also on behalf of the clients. Ensuring that everyone was treated fairly and with due respect.

Mark also handled advertising, ensuring that the company’s presence remained prominent despite the ever-changing media world over the past 30 years. He was also the innovator of new products and color combinations.

Due to his vast knowledge of fish and especially fishing techniques Mark has written articles in outdoor magazines and has a great entourage of professional fisherman and outdoor writers. He has been quoted by many in their articles, television shows and videos.

Above all, Mark is a great communicator. Honest, fair, and generous with his time, Mark has been a mentor and confidant to much of the fishing industry.

I applaud Mark for his 34 years he spent with Brecks and I thank him for his dedication.

Mark’s position will be filled by our sales manager, Mr. Julien Morency. Julien has been part of the Brecks team for 5 years and will bring new ideas while managing relationships with our clients in the same manner we are known for.

All the very best Mark!
