Fishing Report Update

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Lake Michigan Outdoor Fishing Reports are now available here.

The fall salmon run continues in Lake Michigan tributary rivers. In Sheboygan, the Pigeon River has produced Chinook salmon and a few northern pike. Anglers fishing the Sheboygan River have reported Chinooks caught at the Kohler dam and in Esslingen Park. Coho and steelhead were also caught earlier in the week.

Click the button below for additional county-specific information on which fish are biting, current fishing conditions and more.

About Fishing Lake Michigan

Lake Michigan is the most frequently visited water in Wisconsin. It's easy to see why – whether by boat or onshore, a fishing pole will bring you some of the state's best and most diverse fishing, not to mention picturesque views.

With millions of fish stocked annually to keep populations healthy, there's a good chance there will be a bite on your line.

As a reminder, anglers must carry a paper copy of their license/stamps while fishing on the waters of Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, and the WI/MI, WI/MN and WI/IA boundary waters.
