Fishing Report, April 6, 2017
There are still NO Smelt starting to run yet. We need warmer Temps and wind to push the ice out! The forecast calls for warmer temps this weekend so keep your fingers crossed! The Bay is in transition at this time. There are some Anglers trolling on the outside of the Bay, primarily flat-lining with stick baits. However, it is advised to beware of the wind moving the ice around near the landings.
There are Steelheads in the rivers. If the ice is away from the river mouth, it is possible to wade and cast spoons. With any rain expect more fresh fish in the streams.
