DNR Fish Migration & Spawning Chat Set for Tuesday, March 4
It may not feel like it, but spring is just around the corner when many animals start their annual spawning rituals. Fish are no exception. In fact, many species undergo surprisingly long and complex migrations, often for spawning, but also for other purposes. Spring is the best time of the year to get outdoors and see a variety of fish species up close and in large numbers. DNR fisheries researchers will be ready to answer your questions about fish migration and spawning on Tuesday, March 4 at 12 noon. To participate, visit the DNR website and look for the box on the right to enter the chat, or search the phrase "ask the experts.” You can also join the conversation on ourFacebook page by clicking the “Cover it Live Chat” box on the top of the page. |
