Chequamegon Bay Area Fishing Report, January 10, 2017

Note…..Ice conditions can change quickly,  always check with the local bait shops before going out on the ice.

Angler's All, 715-682-5754, is reporting right in front of the city and at Bay View Beach, and Second Landing! Anglers have been catching a mixed bag of fish using mostly jigging spoons in those areas on the Ashland side of the Bay.

River Rock Bait Shop, 715-682-3232, is reporting there continues to be a mixed bag of fish being caught on the Ashland side including, White Fish, Browns, Perch and Walleyes. There have been people venturing out on machines now on the Ashland side and ice shacks are starting to pop up but know your ice!!! Call the bait shops ahead before you venture out!!!!!
