Trout report cards, future of Driftless area trout; trout management task force meeting
Help us plan for the future of trout fishing in the Driftless Area
Starting Monday, join us at one of 9 public meetings over the next month to share your ideas on how to improve fishing access and better manage state lands in Wisconsin's Driftless Area.
Trout report cards can give you a line on where to go in Driftless Area
As part of the master planning effort above that will guide DNR acquisition and management of state properties in the region in coming years, staff produced “report cards.” The report cards for the eight planning regions assess stream health, sport fishery performance, angling access and more. Anglers can use this info now to figure out where they want to fish within the Driftless region.
