Week Three Results -- SE WI SCTP Youth Trapshooting Conference

Three weeks of competition are in the books for the 2012 SE WI SCTP Youth Trapshooting Conference. Once again cool temperatures and breezy April evenings held scores down as none of the twelve teams broke the 120 mark this week.

The Burlington Demons hold the conference top spot as the defending SCTP National Champions were able to sneek past rival Wilmot with a 118 to 118 tie. Burlington had a higher reverse score (total number of birds hit from last miss) to win the tiebreaker.  Between the two teams seven varsity shooters broke 24's.

Westosha Central also stayed undefeated and sit right behind the Demons fighting for the top spot at 3-0 by downing Cudahy 106-93. Kyle Brewer and Joe Glas led the Falcons with a pair of 23’s.

Union Grove posted the high score of the week in downing Muskego 119 to 94. Ryan Maier led the Broncos charge with a perfect 25 to move to 2-1.

Milwaukee Marquette traveled to Waterford and scored the weeks second tie with the teams both posting 114 scores. The Wolverines got the nod on longest reverse score to take the victory from the Hilltoppers moving to 2-1 on the season. Nick Kinateder topped the scores with a 24.

RJ Klade posted a 25 to push Lake Geneva Badger past the virtual score of 108 (average of other varsity teams) giving the Badgers a notch in the win column.

Racine Lutheran dropped to 1-2 on the season after coming up short against the virtual score.

Winners in Junior Varsity were Jefferson, Wilmot, Waterford and Union Grove. The Bronco’s Cole Sterk posted the lone 25 for JV this week.
