YOUTH TRAPSHOOTING RESULTS 4-1-2012
Cooler weather and breezy evenings tightened up the scoring for the second week of the SE WI SCTP Youth Trapshooting Conference. So far, nearly 475 youth shooters have participated this season from the twelve schools now in the conference.
Once again Burlington posted the top score for the week with Alex Fenning, Myles Walker and Christian Jensen all carding perfect scores to lead the Demons past Lake Geneva Badger 122 to 110. Marc Hughes broke all 25 targets to lead Badger. Jensen and Walker are both clean after two weeks of competition topping the conference leaderboard.
Union Grove posted the third highest score of the week downing Oconomowoc 114 to 99. The Broncos were led by John Brunner's 24.
Waterford was led by Brandon Travis who carded a 23 as the Wolverines downed Muskego 110 to 96.
Lutheran and downed the Crusaders 104-99. Ryan Lipstreuer paced the Panthers with a 24.
Mason Zager posted a 24 to lead Cudahy who scored 105 against Jefferson.
Milwaukee Marquette had a virtual match against the average score of the other teams and posted the second high score of the week at 115.
The Hilltoppers were led by Grant Flesner who broke 24.
Central benefit a 24 from Kody Willkomm to lead the Falcons past the virtual score of 107.
Winners in Junior Varsity were Burlington, Central, Jefferson, Marquette, Union Grove, Waterford and Wilmot. Alexa McCarthy of the Demons and the Panthers Brendon Pietschman both posted perfect scores in JV. Burlington's Cullen Kruser carded the lone 25 for the intermediate (grade 5-8) shooters.
