Big Buck Contest
September 14th-November 22
Register your deer at Pine View Campground or the Sportsman's Range. Must be registered byNovember 22nd. Deer with the most points wins. Deer will be judged by the number of points first, and the outside spread as a tiebreaker. Prive will be awarded to the top overall buck. Contest is open to all individuals that are eligible to use the range. No minimum number of participation.

Sparta Ambassadors Honorary Citizens
September 18-19th
The Chamber Ambassador captures a visiting couple and makes them Honorary Citizens of Sparta. The program started in 1999. The new couple are taken on various tours of Sparta, given a key to the city and introduced to the local area. Every year many of the past inductees return for this annual event.

Sparta Comedy Fest

Join the Sparta Area Cancer Support at the Colonial Bowling and Banquet Center for 4 Comedians.
These comedians have been seen on shows such as the Bob & Tom Show, The Tonight Show, Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, and The Late Show and more!
$10.00 a ticket. Tickets may be purchased at the Colonial Bowling and Banquet Center.
100 Bird Trap Shoot

Each participant will shoot 100 clay pigeons in 3 rounds
All skill levels welcome
Tie breaker will be sudden victory
Prizes awarded to the top finishers
Shotguns available for checkout (ammunition must be purchased at the Sportsman's Range)
